Andrew Macbeth Anderson DL was a lawyer and writer on Scottish criminal law. See here for a list of his works available for viewing on HathiTrust. It is rather amusing how it starts off with “Dole” i.e. British welfare, from David Hume, the Scots philosopher. His line of vitality or the Scorpio Sun opposing its Taurean moon suggests a constant need for Judge Anderson to affirm his views by specializing in one facet of the cosmic order after another. He had a preponderance in Libra, often the sign of the law and military. His ascendant is Cancer 08, or the symbol of…

Recently I have been reading A History of Modern Poetry by David Perkins, Harvard University Press, and rediscovered many a familiar poet that I haven’t read in ages. John Davidson was one though I probably could not have told you more than he was “poet with Eliot connections” but that was about all.

Christian Charles Philip Bale was born to English parents in Haverfordwest, Wales on January 30 1974. We chose 10 Gemini or 12:12 in the afternoon for his ascendant because of his incredible acting versatility. The 7th House of Scorpio is empty but right near it is Neptune at 10 Sagittarius as Bale sites that meeting his “foreign” wife totally changed his mind on marriage or as our editor Mo Saladin says “reformed” it as in changing shape, altering one’s mind as a catalyst to fulfilling one’s “obligation.”

After reading Randy Taborelli’s bio of Elizabeth Taylor, I noticed that she has two birth-times. One is 2:30 AM in London and the other is 7:56 in the evening that was rectified by Adrienne Ziegler and the Church of Light. There are several things wrong with Ziegler’s rectification but the most striking is Taylor does not have a Grand Trine in Water with the Ziegler chart, a salient feature of Ms. Taylor’s life (always crying, pouting, yelling and throwing tantrums) and of course her remarkable beauty (that a Grand Trine bestows). The 2:30 AM OTOH has the Grand Water Trine…

Admiral Charles William de la Poer Beresford, First Baron Beresford, G.C.B., G.C.V.O., Royal Navy was an officer of the Royal Navy. Born in Curraghmore, Waterford County, Ireland, on February 10 1846 he was son of a Protestant minister and his wife. Beresford enjoyed a career in the Royal Navy and as a Member of Parliament for the Unionist cause. His indomitable spirit gave him the nickname of Charlie B — a pun on England’s John Bull. He died shortly after attending President Theodore Roosevelt’s funeral from pneumonia on 6 September, 1919 . The similarities in these two political / military…

John Emerich Edward Dalberg is Lord Acton. John Dalberg, was trained at St. Mary’s College in New Oscott, a Roman Catholic seminary in the Birmingham Archdiocese because Cambridge would not admit Catholics. Dalberg then went to Munich and continued his studies under Johann Joseph von Dollinger, who educated him in the new German methods of historical research. After graduating from there, he travelled to the United States finally returning to England and settling at the family seat in Aldenham Shropshire where he was elected to the House of Commons (similar to the US House of Representatives) for Carlow but this…

Using the Equal House The Equal House house and whole House systems are the oldest astrological house systems in astrology. The Equal House is based on the Ecliptic, and some astrologers actually call it the Ecliptic system. It has several features: All the houses are equally spaced, meaning that each house is exactly thirty degrees wide, so it very easy to manually construct. All of the houses start on the degree of the Ascendant There are no intercepted houses, as each sign gets its own house, i.e. we equally divide the chart into twelve equal parts. The tenth house cusp…
