On May 30, 1806, Andrew Jackson and Charles Henry Dickinson met in a duel in Nashville, Tennessee. Charles Henry was an excellent duelist with 26 kills under his belt. The animosity between the two men seems to have started in 1805 over a bet at a horse race. Jackson and Dickinson were rival horse breeders with a long-standing hatred of each other. Dickinson accused Jackson of reneging on a horse bet and called Jackson a coward and an equivocator. Getting no response, Dickinson then Jackson’s wife, Rachel, a bigamist. (Rachel had married Jackson not knowing her first husband had failed…

Farmers are socialists by nature. It takes a community of like minded people to make a successful farm, as historically they tend to share tools, tips and hard times and Henry Agard Wallace came from a long line of farming stock. His father, Henry Cantwell Wallace, successfully create a hybrid species of corn that is still harvested today. Henry A, as he was called, started out as a journalist for the family newspaper, Wallaces’ Farmer until it went bankrupt. His political career began in FDR’s administration as the agriculture secretary where he developed the Agricultural Adjustment Administration developing farming price…

Bucket Temperament Barack Hussein Obama’s 1st inauguration on January 20, 2009, at 12 noon had the Ascendant of 13Taurus 56. Sepharial wrote about 15o years ago about this Symbol that it denotes a “humble and conscientious nature that find pleasure in good works. …. The chief characteristic is the sense of justice and fraternity and shows a degree of Liberality.” Marc Edmund Jones on the same symbol is “Shellfish groping and children playing,” and shows an emphasis on self-discovery as the dominant mold of reality. The keyword here is Emergence. Honestly, we think that both Liberality and Emergence work well…

Nevada Sen. Patrick Anthony McCarran (Dem 1931-1954) drafted several pieces of legislation in the 1930s and ’40s all of which became the foundation for today’s aviation regulatory structure. In Southern Nevada the McCarran International Airport is named for him. Sen. Harry Reid appealed to the Department of Transportation to change the name, but after a lengthy review process, McCarran International remained. “Pat McCarran was one of the most anti-Semitic — and some of you might know my wife’s Jewish — one of the most anti-black, one of the most prejudiced people who has ever served in the Senate,” said Sen.…

Update November 19, 2020 I nearly forgot…Our prediction that Cal would lose was dead to rites. Read it here from the Citizen. Original Post, October 10 2020 Senator Cal Cunningham seems to be in trouble being like Tony Weiner, husband to Secretary Hillary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin, he’s been sexting a woman. That was his first mistake. His poll numbers are falling which has to be disheartening to the Marxist UK Guardian that periodically runs stories that Christianity in America is dead. It is in the stars Cunningham has a problem with the fixed stars. Denebola, a blue star in…

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama was a very well loved first lady, typical of Splay Temperament types. She was so loved many of her fans who heard her speak at the 2016 Democratic Convention urged her to run in 2020. She has said she will not, that eight years in the White House was enough. Politics though is fickle and as the Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra would say, everything is possible until “the fat lady sings”. Descendant of a slave Through her mother, Michelle is a direct descendant of a male slave owned by a plantation in Alabama. Nothing is mentioned from…

While waiting the JFK assassination files, commonly called the Warren Commission findings, to be released, I decided to look at his birth chart, wondering what we may find. We all need something to do during this lockdown. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting bored. The JFK Presidential Library says that all health and birth data for JFK are closed, that’s probably because of the Commission, but they do have on their site his birth certificate stating he was born at home. Oddly enough, it was not created until 26 years old. Astro.com gives a 15:00 time based on…

Bristol, Connecticut by Mo Saladin. There are few things I remember clearer than at 12:30 PM on November 22, 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald killing President Kennedy in Dallas. The news came into my house via radio, but I was at school. No reason given. They dismissed class with the warning to go home. We were stunned, but happy to get out of school early, but when we did, we saw that there were teachers crying and a somber feeling permeated the air.

As a special Christmas gift we are giving a comparison of Donald Trump vs previous presidents we highlighted. The first of the series, Teddy Roosevelt to Trump is here. At first, I was rather surprised by how far apart the two men were apart, with their major point Roosevelt’s Saturn at 12 Leo to Trump’s Pluto at 11 Leo, but upon reflection the differences made sense as did the commonality of “Japanese fire lanterns sway in the wind with music from a string ensemble interweaving among the crowd,” for Roosevelt in the third house of how America interacts with other…
