Elon Musk. The man of DOGE, PayPal inventor, the electric Tesla car inventor, and owner of X, (previously called Twitter), manufacturer of rockets via SpaceX, and Father of eleven children (though this is disputed and is often cited higher), South African born, Canadian raised, American trained, Elon Musk is always in the news.

Elon was born in Pretoria, South Africa, on June 28, 1971. He had a childhood stutter (see Lilith in the tenth house). We pegged him as having a Capricorn rising and the symbol of ”Ingenious and Aggressive.” The Brown Bomber, boxer Joe Louis, has this as his moon. Sir Isaac Pitman, inventor of the Pittman Shorthand method, has it for his Sun.
But how did he make his fortune? Well, it was a slow climb, but he hopscotched from success to success.
In the late 1980s, Musk developed and sold video game software for $500. Obviously not a substantial fortune, but it was enough of a success that he could get smart money to invest in his online city guide platform, Zip2.
Four years later, Musk sold it for more than $300 million.
Now with some real money in his belt, launched X. com, an online payment platform. This is not X.com the new Twitter,, but another X that merged with another startup called PayPal.
This put Musk into electronic currency, the forerunner of digital payments and Bitcoin. Then in 2002, eBay.com the online auction house, purchased PayPal for $1.5 billion; Elon was now a multi-millionaire.
From this Elon launched space exploration company SpaceX (again the X) the Electric Voltage company Tesla, and solar energy company SolarCity.
Musk’s other company is the Boring Company, which constructs tunnels for underground transportation systems with zero emissions. He has a knack for making money.
The Musk Chart
His ascendant (13 Capricorn 00). It gets the keyword of “Determination.”a Jones gives the symbol of “one hand slightly flexed with a very prominent thumb” saying it dramatizes the belief in one’s ability to deal with everything by ruling his environment. It is opposite his Mercury (14 Cancer 58) and is in mutual reception with his Moon (13 Virgo 25), They create a T-Square at Uranus 09 Libra 29 in the tenth, a semi-sextile away from his Part of Fortune, 05 Scorpio 35, “the gold rush” or when natural resources, including one’s own, are forever challenged to their own good fortune..
This shows the dynamic between Uranus and his Part of Fortune interact. He used modern technology to create his fortune to create another Uranian gadget that creates more money for him so he can then exploit another gadget.
He has a grand trine in air and thus is a Locomotive planetary pattern. His lead planet is Neptune, the planet Marc E. Jones called, personal obligation in the twelfth house in Sagittarius, which is also the house of government, leadership and self-undoing.
That fits. As head of President Trump’s DOGE department, he has become incredibly unpopular with the left wing in the country and has suffered from sliding Tesla sales, and bombs of his Tesla cars. As Sagittarius is the sign of moving things, moving people, shaking up ideas he probably enjoys this attention.
But the twelfth house is also that of self-undoing, opposite the sixth house of service and opposite his Saturn (personified by his support of POTUS). This opposition gets another T-Square at the Midheaven, and perhaps is showing that his support is only as good as it is good for Musk.
Twelfth house Motion
Sagittarius in the twelfth shows his need for motion: currency moving from one place to another, cars shooting places, rockets flying upward.This makes sense, as his father and grandfather were in airplanes and world travel too.
His most aspected planet is Pluto, and his least is Saturn, which is also the lord of his chart because his ascendant is Capricorn and Saturn rules that sign.
His Arabian Parts are rather interesting as the oppositions show us what others try to pin on him. Musk, though, is a moving target, so it will be hard for anything to stick unless he does something himself (Neptune can only be undone by Neptune).
In the meantime, he’s picking Ramaswamy, another billionaire, for Veep. But then Vivek dropped out and ran for Ohio governor as he has his own karma to follow, and Musk jumped on the Trump-wagon…well, at least for now.
