A man of aphorisms Jones cites his birthday as September 24th, 1891 which is the same as the New York Times obituary. Marc Edmund Jones,does not local mean time (LMT) the birth times in his 1000, but uses the clock time. I prefer Zain’s method of LMTing the time as I agree it gives better results. This gives Adams the ascendant of 28 Scorpio 21 instead of 29 +; it is a minor difference. Not visible from North America but completely visible in Eastern Africa and Central Asia from 3:30 p.m. to 5:13 p.m. EDT. Our header picture is from Madagascar one of the few places that will not be cloudy for viewing.

Two of the five bright planets–Saturn and Mercury–are evening planets, but only Saturn is clearly visible after nightfall in early November, 2017. Right before Thanksgiving, on November 13th, Venus (at 08 Scorpio) will be exact to Jupiter and be like a “Moon shining on a lake, unveiling everyone’s darkest secrets.” We base our chart at Colorado Springs, Colorado.
